after writing a drawcall backbuffer dumping hack it seems like most of the stuff
on the esc menu is drawn by drawStridedSlow, the dot's for the control are drawn
as slow while there are some drawStridedFast calls where nothing happens on the
backbuffer
by judgeing from the logic that would be that calls drawing the missing
background lines
