The Direct3d surface is being drawn at 0x0 on the parent of the canvas, rather
than the canvas itself.

The demo is downloadable in the given link. It is the free software Engine.
And I confirm the bug.

Btw is that in the window/virtual desktop/full-screen? I've noticed Wine does
not always properly updates screen resolution when using anything other then
full-screen with xrandr.

You can download the program from the site I mentioned, also I know the
developer personally and can see if he will write up a basic bare bones demo
application with source code that demonstrates this behavior if it will help. 
Its a Visual Basic 6 application though.

Yes, that would help. Is this still a problem in 1.1.12? Please give steps to
reproduce in the demo.

This bug has not been updated for two years and OP by four. Is this still an
issue i current (1.5.4) or newer wine ? You may also close this as abandoned if
you feel that that this is issue is no longer relevant to you.
