WINE_ROOT is just an environment variable I use so that I don't have to
type the full path to the Wine sources over and over. It's even more
useful in my wenv script.

WINEDLLPATH tells Wine where to find the builtin Wine dlls. Here
/home/fgouget/wine/dlls

WINE_PREFIX tells Wine where to find its configuration file. By default
this is $HOME/.wine
