Maybe you should fix that rectangle first? There were few differences I recall in size of the update regions between Wine and native. The drawing errors could be the result of those differences.

It should be fixed of course but is unrelated. Current obvious problems are: - vertical buttons interior rectangle is ~2 pixels higher and ~1 pixel thiner then it should - hottracked rectangle looks like a text bounding box. It should be a whole button size
