Hi, I noticed my MR was closed in favor of MR!8846, which contains nearly identical changes submitted just 6 days ago.     
Could you help me understand why my MR waited 3 months without review while a similar one was processed so quickly?     
I'd like to learn if there was anything I missed in my submission process.
