[Bug 4024] New: python-2.4.2.msi won't install

I added "msi" = "native, builtin" and "msiexec.exe" = "native, builtin" to ~/wine/config as suggested some shaman on one or another Voodoo pages. I invoked: wine msiexec /i python-2.4.2.msi Wine began spewing its normal "fixme ..." messages, but presented a dialog (with some missing components). I'm pretty sure that this happens if you have a large number of printers on your network and use CUPS. Winspool enumerates all the cups printers at start up and takes in the order of 1 second per printer. Ctrl-Alt-Del shows the task manager, without any "Not responding" tasks, but this window can't be clicked away. <start output> process.c: 330: Test failed: Setting CP ptests/process.c: 6 tests executed, 0 marked as todo, 2 failures. (a musical note and a 0 or O in reverse video follows at the end of the last line) <end output> Running the test on the same machine running WinXP SP2 succeeds including sending the test results.
