I think this is a bad snap shot depending on what your configuration. Just
follow the CVS update instructions and it should compile. There have been
several bugs for this problem that have been opened and closed. Searching
bugzilla with summary Compilation and Compile both do not find any

Summary: Compilation of source fails
Product: Wine

Hello,
I have a dual-CPU PIII 1GHz PC with plenty of disk and RAM space. I am using
Linux Slackware 10.1 with upgraded 2.6 Kernel (running the dual CPUs) which
has worked for months without obvious errors.
I downloaded the latest version of the Wine 20050830 sources and tried to
compile it, and it stopped with the following error:
make *** [dlls] Error2
The details:
./configure finished without errors or any (obvious) missing requirements.
Running make depend && make, I got,
in ~/dlls/wldap32
1st compilation (add.c) gives:
'In file included from add.c:39:
winldap_private.h:289: error: parse error before 'BerElement'
" " :290: " " " " "
" " :322: " " " " "
" " :323: " " " " "
make[2] *** [add.o] Error1'
... then backing out to the 'make' error above.
Hope this helps.
My email is slack1_more(a)optusnet.com.au

I think this is more or less a duplicate of 3219 as I expect fixing one will
fix the other.
I'm putting together a quick hack for DirectX but the proper solution is to
intergrate with x11drv and the HAL.

Joe, could you please retest this with the latest WineHQ CVS, and make sure that
you have both "msi" = "builtin" and "*msiexec.exe" = "builtin" in the
DllOverrides section in user.reg?

You could open separate bugs that block this one, there are too many bugs here
for (some should be closed) for this bug to be very usefull any more.
I've got a little bit of work on pixel shaders to finish off tommorow then
I'll split this bug out into separate bugs (if someone else hasn't done that
already)

This still does not work for me. I'm running gkrellm and after running
scramble.exe I gets bits of gkrellm here and there.
Debian testing
xserver-xfree86 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14
fvwm95 2.0.43ba-22
gkrellm 2.2.7-2
wine-cvs 20050925
In a few weeks I should be able to test with the Xorg X server but I doubt it
would make a difference. A more likely hypothesis is that your window manager
put Wine's unmanaged window on top thus hiding gkrellm's and xmms' refreshes,
while fvwm95 did not.
