Now it should be in. Closing.
BTW the best way to test this is to push and hold key (for example move
forward), then using mouse try to rotate.

Marvin, please stop posting to this bug. If you have a problem using wine, post
a message to wine-users(a)winehq.org. If you know there's a bug in the app, open
a new bug report. I'm closing this bug.

I certainly don't get the freezes anymore with completely unmodified cvs
checkouts - maybe another patch helped. Anyway, you're right; there still is a
small slowdown I didn't notice before.

OK, this is interesting. According to this line the number of CPUs are being
correctly detected by Wine:
trace:reg:GetSystemInfo <- CPU arch 0, res'd 0, pagesize 4096, minappaddr
0x10000, maxappaddr 0x7ffeffff, act.cpumask 00000001, numcpus 2, CPU type 586,
allocgran. 65536, CPU level 6, CPU rev 11009
However, I have no clue about how to look the way C4D is trying to detect the
hardware. Any help would be greatly appreciated (wine.log is now attached).

Yeah these errors are something not related to this bug.
The problem is finding how this program detects if there are more the one CPUs.
It could be looking in the registry. You might want to look at +reg debug channel:
WINEDEBUG=+reg wine app.exe &> /tmp/wine.log
