X disappears. My monitors go blank. I actually hear my case fans spin up as if they do when the system boots. I cannot ping the machine. In fact, I believe the system reboots itself, but fails to get beyond POST. If I press the reset power button on the case, the system reboots, but doesn't get beyond POST again. Only after the second time of pressing the reset button my system boots up properly. I tried piping the output of wine to a log file but either no messages are printed, or the buffer isn't written to the disk before the machine crashes/restarts. I also checked my Xorg and syslog but neither show any problems. I have experienced this problem 4 times - always at different spots in the game. As far as I remember, this is the first time my Linux system crashed this badly. Wine version 0.9.26 and 0.9.25 was tested. Wine was obtained from git and compiled.
