Sometime in the past week or so, something changed
to break Firefox 1.5, which now crashes on startup.
The interesting part of the log is:
Unhandled exception: page fault on write access to 0x0000001a in 32-bit code

Summary: NASA WorldWind doesn't start.
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.10.
Platform: PC
URL: http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: tbretz(a)astro.uni-wuerzburg.de
It is an application like GoogleEarth, but OPEN SOURCE. This might help a lot
further improve wine. I managed to install the Application, but the best I got
when starting it was a "Fatal stack overflow" and an "Unhandled Page fault from
the .NET environment" Maybe the main problem is that the .NET runtime
environment has to be installed.

Summary: Red Hat and Fedora Core binaries are out of date
Product: WineHQ.com
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
URL: http://www.winehq.org/site/download-rh
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: misc-web
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rivanvx(a)fastmail.fm
If you take a look at RH/FC download page, you notice that binaries are out of
date. I know that it takes a lot of time and effort to maintain packages, and
maintanier sometimes doesn't have that much time, so I suggest the following:
For FC3/4/5 add a notice that "Current version of Wine is available in Fedora
Extras for Fedora Core versions 3, 4 and 5." and perhaps put a link to extras. (
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras/ )
Then FC3 and FC4 binaries can be easily removed from this page, because users
will be able to install it from Extras. That gives less work to package
maintainer, so he can perhaps update older binaries a bit more frequently.

Its true that video isn't displayed, but this is probably down to not having
windows divx or other codecs installed...

In "Desktop Entry Specification", "Basic format of the file" section, values
appear without quotes: http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/latest/.
I think it's a wine bug, since if you add quotes to the value, they are appended
to the path, and it isn't a valid path. If Gnome supports that, they do it for
compatibility. (and I don't know wine structure, I tried to guess the component
:). But thanks for the information)

Works OK here... what do you mean by "I started the command in a different
Directory." ? You need to specify the full path to the .msi file if it's not in
the same directory.
