when trying to install wine_0.9.12-winehq2-ubuntu-6.06-1_i386.deb the system
reports that the package has the wrong architecture. so could you please support
the comunity with a X86_64 binary package (which resolves also missing 32 bit
libs) or with a source package which can resolve missing dependicies and comile
clean on such systems?
istalling this package is tooo hot for me. I don't want to trash the system.

Ok, Far Cry also does this (giving a different error message but still bailing
out when clicking the Browse box when selecting where to install.
That makes Far Cry, Civilization 4 and Sum of all Fears now.

But why does winecfg want to access this directory? Or doesn't simply ignore its
nonexistence?

Summary: Enter (return) key not working
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.16.
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-richedit
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dirmass(a)gmail.com
By starting the windows app NINJAM (www.ninjam.com):
$wine ninjam
I get the terminal output:
fixme:richedit:RichEditANSIWndProc WM_SETFONT: stub
The app starts correctly and runs perfectly, but when I try to submit a text
field nothing happens, no terminal output and the text doesn't submit. The text
field is a chatbox part of a a small chat program.
Now I'm assuming this happens to other app which use text input...
The way I fixed it:
Overrided the native dll.
Downloaded the native dll riched20.dll. I copied this to:
wine/drive_c/windows/system32/riched20.dll
And ran winecfg > Libraries > New override for that dll..
Restarted the app. no error in terminal and the Enter key worked...
Hope this will get fixed by default..
Thanks for the great free software!!!

I think it's a arts/distro problem. From one of the arts source files:
if (!mcop_dir)
mcop_dir = locate_mcop_dir();
}
if (!mcop_dir)
{
system("lnusertemp socket");
mcop_dir = locate_mcop_dir();
}
if (!mcop_dir)
{
arts_fatal("can't create mcop directory");
}
You can clearly see that it needs "lnusertemp" to setup that dir. But that
program is part of kdelibs package.
