Adolf please do not attach huge images. Use jpg.
I think these problems should be fixed. Use latest source from GIT/CVS or wait
for wine-0.9.18 to test.

Since WoW works properly in openGL this should be considered an enhancement really.

Luckily I do not have the problem with the ALT key (as can be seen in the
screen shots).
My graphics card is a nVidia FX 5700. I'm using the closed source driver
because I need the 3D support.
Two screen shots are attached, one show the bad text background colors, the
other the screen after the flashing of screen areas started.
After reverting to 0.9.16 everything is fine again.
I can provide "good" screenshots for comparison if this helps.

Flashing screen areas in Diablo
The screen has broken up badly. The basic layout is still intact, but all kinds
of objects and areas are rapidly flashing. Many of the areas that are displayed
in some weird color in the screenshot flash in white on the screen. The
different colors in the screenshot may be a product of the color translation
(paletizing?).

Text background colors are bad
The text describing the objects on the floor normally has a dark, transparent
background. The health status bar above the companion icon (upper left corner)
is normally green.

Apparently set_queue_size isn't what is causing the issue, per an op on #winehq.
"Wine's serial port doesn't work in asynch mode for input" is apparently at
least part of the problem. This issue appears to be related to bug 5398.

This bug appears to be related to bug 4633. I can confirm that this bug is
still present in win 0.9.17. Apparently Wine's serial port doesn't work in
asynch mode for input.
