The problem is fixed in the latest cvs, The program compiles fine.
If we define WinMain, other wise it complains of WinMain declaration.
Hence closing this issue

Should I this patch send to wine-patches list or is needed some more discussion
about this regression?

I am now closing this issue as now there is a stub implementation of
this function in the cvs.
Please test with new version of wine.

Check if coloruse parameter in X11DRV_DIB_BuildColorMap function is equal to
DIB_PAL_COLORS
I don't know why this approach works, but when I read the patch sent by Huw
Davies I made a guess about returning the 3 previously removed checks before
X11DRV_DIB_BuildColorMap function call from wine 0.9.9 version, but putting
only one check inside the X11DRV_DIB_BuildColorMap function instead of before
each function call, and it works for the current code version from CVS
(2006-07-07 13:00:00 UTC) with Lotus Notes 5.

You need to ensure that shdocvw, mshtml and urlmon are set to native during
installation of IE and when starting IE. Don't worry about the builtin
iexplore.exe being used - it has pretty much the same functionality as the
native one - just calling a function in shdocvw that does the rest!
You may also need to set shlwapi to native when running IE.
