Summary: Grand Prix Legends: heavy randomic slowdown at 800x600
resolution or higher
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.43.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-opengl
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: xwang1976(a)email.it
When I start Grand Prix Legends 2004 Demo at 640x480, the game runs fluently at
36 fps like it does under windows, but if I change the resolution at 800x600 or
higher, it runs at about 1 fps and at the same moment the cpu usage goes to
100% (at 640x480 is at 20-25% maximum). This happens in a randomic way because
sometimes it switch correctly to the higher resolution and in that case it runs
fluently even at 800x600 (I've seen this case in 3 or 4 cases over more than 30
times I tried to switch to this resolution). However I've never been able to
run at 1024x768 as I normally do under windows.

Several surface textures are missing in this game, probably due to the below
mentioned bug:
wine err:d3d_surface:surface_prepare_system_memory Surface without memory or
pbo has SFLAG_INSYSMEM set!
I have created a .jpg to visualize this bug.
The bug was not shown in the err log proir to wine version 0.9.49 but the
surfaces were missing anyway.

In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl, parts of grass are disappearing and
appearing on wrong locations. E.g. there's some area where there is no grass as
should be but there's some grass on the road where it shouldn't be. The grass
keeps appearing and disappearing as I move and look around, also if I stay on
the same posistion I think.
With UseGLSL=disabled everything looks fine.

Summary: B-Jigsaw does not display pieces correctly
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.47.
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: wine-programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: freddybob(a)gmail.com
When playing a jigsaw puzzle, the peices get a white box around them and the
white box overlaps the gaps between the pieces, making it hard to align them
correctly. This is only a problem when playing a game with rotation enabled and
the box seems to be made just large enough to allow the piece to rotate within
it. Sorry I can't provide much more information. B Jigsaw is discontinued so I
have uploaded the installation file.

Summary: A conflict between global and user's %PATH% environment
variables
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.46.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-console
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: sagrer(a)yandex.ru
My program (in Lazarus, compiled in WinXP) adds it's paths into User's PATH
environment variable. User's %PATH% variable stored in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment\PATH and global windows's variable is stored in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Environment\PATH - by default a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment is not
exists - so if i call "wine cmd" from bash, and then from cmd i call "path" or
"set" - it show's me a content of
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Environment\PATH
But if i only create a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment\PATH in registry - it
shows me only content of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment\PATH, not any content
from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Environment\PATH - but in windows XP it shows GlobalPath+";"+UserPath
in a same situation - of cource, it is not a greate problem to copy content
from GlobalPath to LocalPath (for example) manually, but i think that it is a
bug :)
I used 0.9.46 in Ubuntu 6.10 - 0.9.47 just released today - i looked into
changelog but it was no anything for %PATH% or Environment in changes from
0.9.46 to 0.9.47
