I can't do much with this bugreport. I suspect some driver bugs. In general we
can't do anything about the things you describe. Could you be more specific?
Further are you sure it is using opengl and not Direct3D?

Interrupting the discussion about what is and isnt supported, have you tried
doing a regression test to work out what patch changed the behaviour.
Then it might be clearer as to whether the problem is introduced by mixing
native/non native libraries and the discussion can be based on the technical
merits of the patch in question.

I can't get the app working on my Wine version (0.9.42 with some additional
OpenGL changes). I'm asked to update my video drivers. Can any of you try the
latest Wine from GIT? I have added a lot of improvements and some other
important patches are still in the queue to get committed.

It seems that this program is very critical to the pixelformats it receives. We
only have a single pixelformat for window rendering. At the moment I'm offering
this main window format and all float (offscreen) formats. I could mark some
other standard pixelformats as offscreen only. That would fix this program.

The comment regarding removing ~/.wine directory is irrelevant - before
filing the bug I did this on my desktop machine and then I had a build from
scratch on my laptop - on laptop before the build ~/.wine never existed.
I assure you that IE6 installation was performed from scratch.
For some reason you stubbornly refuse to understand that new Wine version
broke an application that used to work under Wine.
I even tried to clean up history, internet files, cookies in IE6 - the same
result - the 'h' letter is present.
I believe that presence/absence of characters in an entry field of a GUI
application is the direct consequence of the way that GUI widget is impelented
- it looks to me that something got broken WRT to IE6.

I just have a report from someone (bug 9082) who uses version 2.1 and for him
it starts but lots of unsupported pbuffer things. Perhaps I should get the
demo ones it outputs the same WGL errors.

Thanks for the report I'll look at it. It is basically the same bug (though in
a different form now) as bug 5964. The users there will get the same issue, so
better shift the discussion to there.
