Also, playing with the formatting controls has no effect, because EM_FORMATRANGE isn't implemented. Alexandre recently committed my patch that prevents the crash to git. Let's close this bug! If you leave a ship in order to go to another station to pick up a new ship, or if you get podded during combat, the client will crash to desktop. I use Ubuntu 9.04(64bit) and was using Wine 1.0.1. I have found another post on another forum from someone that this is happening to as well. The responses derided him/her for using 'older' software and recommended an 'upgrade' to the 'current' beta-development version. The user responded back that this fixed their issue.
