Bash printout.
Following advice for using a native gdiplus.dll in bug 12906, Everest Poker
gets to the startup screen, then fails to progress.
Without the native gdiplus.dll, Everest Poker does not progress this far.

Test wine latest wine-git wine-1.1.14-248-gcb57ebc to confirm, the game
progresses slightly further, but there is still an unhandled exception when
trying to start the game with sound.
Linked the app to bug 7385.

Summary: Excel 2003 does not properly display newline character
in fields
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.14
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: mk144210(a)bcm.edu
So apparently alt-enter makes a newline character in an excel chart. This works
fine when you are entering it, but then it displays as a square box (unknown
character?) instead of a newline in Excel. In Windows running on Virtualbox it
actually makes a new line.

I also note that G: drive has "program files" instead of "Program files"...is
there a problem of misunderstanding of the capitalized "p"????

The crash log.
Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne: crashes whenever I try to click "Battle.net". It
does however work when I set the WINEDEBUG prefix to +all (which is very weird
to me), although it works very slow. It seems to work in wine-1.1.13 but after
testing for regressions as specified in the instructions I found nothing.
Attaching the log.

Summary: configure link tests don't respect the -L from LDFLAGS
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

Created an attachment (id=19261)

config.log
LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib32" ./configure
Expected results: Configure uses /usr/lib32 to search for libraries to be
linked against. Tests append that to their library path and tests succeed.
Actual results: Configure sets LDFLAGS on some level, yet ignores LDFLAGS in
the actual test, pulls the paths from the system, gets /usr/lib and fails
compile tests because there are 64bit libraries in that folder.
I'm not exactly sure which level this can be fixed on (as in, shipping a
configure file might be wrong to begin with, autogen.sh which produces the
configure file and fixing the files out of which configure script is created of
is probably the right course of action), probably requires someone with the
ability to deal with autoconf scripting. The version of configure I tried with
was pulled from git.

Summary: Goldwave 5.25: Still corrupting mp3 as in Bug 14406
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.14
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: jim(a)jima2z.net
This was reported as fixed, but with a new install of Wine 1.1.14 on Ubuntu
8.10, the problem remains. It works perfectly with wave audio, but decodes mp3
improperly, exactly as shown in graphic submitted with previous bug. While
many have suggested using another app, this would be very difficult to do as
the features in this program are unmatched by any other...
Many Thanks for making WINE a GREAT product!
