When starting Pirates of the Burning Sea, the SOE loader tries to start, but
hangs. I have found that killing the process "services.exe" will enable it to
continue.

episode 1 racer terminal output
Install works fine; opening menu works fine; crashes after clicking play.
In winecfg I have tryed windows versions 98 and XP. I have tryed with and
without desktop emulation. I have tryed with and without the Pixel shader. All
with same result.
Any other suggestions? I would be happy to get this working; it crashes
intermittently while playing it on winXP.
I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 with wine 1.0.0 from the repo.
Thank you.

Abandoned. If you still have an issue in current (1.1.25 or newer) wine, and
can provide the needed information, feel free to reopen.
