The solid black textures are still an issue in 1.3.18

Im trying to get Mass Effect 2 working with 360 degress mouse rotation, but I
still didnt succeed :(
I used wine 1.3.18 => didn't help at all
I applied the newest xinput2 patch
(http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=33574) to wine 1.3.17 (since the
patch isn't compatible with wine 1.3.18) and It didn't matter at all either.
The thing is, I'm running the newest Ubuntu (11.04 beta 2) which uses a very
new Xorg, and I wonder if the xinput2 patch is also compatible with this
version?
(everything else works perfectly, it's just the **** mouse rotation that makes
it SO hard to play the game)
I also tried to play Assassins Creed => same result as ME2 :(

If this is the game the OP talks about, it's an MMORPG with a subscription :
http://www.tibia.com/mmorpg/free-multiplayer-online-role-playing-game.php .
In git, the game runs fine for me. According to some comments here, this bug
was due to ORM not being supported at the time. It is the default now and runs
fine.

It looks like some of the xinput2 implementation provided by the patch went
into Wine 1.3.18. However the Wine 1.3.18 doesn't fix the issue the patch
solved in some games as noted by others.
The patch no longer applies cleanly, and I don't know the codebase well enough
to create a new one.

Summary: Wrong font for ==> in Word
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.17
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: fonts
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: quentin.denis(a)gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=34301)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=34301)
Screenshot illustrating the font issue
Word automatically substitutes ==> with a bold arrow. Word in wine won't
display this character, neither in an existing document, nor when typing '==>'.
Instead, a different character is displayed, as shown in the attached
screenshot.
This issue is very annoying when printing such a document with wine.

Summary: winecfg does not play 'Test Sound'
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.14
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: andreas.bierfert(a)lowlatency.de
Steps to reproduce:
1) Start winecfg
2) Go to Audio tab
3) Select (any) audio driver (example below with ALSA Driver)
4) Click Apply
5) Click Test Sound
Result:
No sound is played
Expected Result:
Sound is played
Interestingly sound works just fine in wine applications (tested with winamp).
So this points to some problem in winecfg.
This has not worked for me since at least 1.3.10.
WINEDEBUG=coreaudio+all winecfg gives:
err:alsa:ALSA_CheckSetVolume Could not find 'PCM Playback Volume' element
fixme:winmm:proc_PlaySound Couldn't play header
fixme:winmm:proc_PlaySound Couldn't play header

I have a nvidia GTS 250 which is DX10 compatible, and I'm afraid it still runs
into this issue.
