backtrace after trying to execute the program
With a fresh installation of debian/wheezy and the Wine 1.7.4 from the SID
(Jessie) sources.
I installed the "x64-bit" version of FEMM42.
The version of this program can be downloaded from
http://www.femm.info/Archives/bin/femm42bin_x64.exe
Installation works perfectly, but after that the FEMM42-x64bit cannot be
started.
A error message like: "The program femm.exe hast encountered a serious problem
and needs to close...."
The 32bit version of FEMM42 doesn't have problems. Only the x64-bit version!

Borderlands runs about three times slower under Wine than under Windows (from
30+FPS to 10FPS). This is with all settings as low as they go. Wine prints no
output during execution. My graphics card is a GeForce Go 7900 GS, in a 1.6x2
Core2 T5500 laptop. Both Windows and Linux use the nVidia beta driver (v190).
Wine version is Git head (1.1.35+). Graphics are identical, except that Z
ordering of light decals seems broken (this may be linked to slowdowns).
Adaptive clocking correctly switches to full-speed mode; Speedstep is off. perf
record/report lists the following distribution: 40% in libGLcore.so, 30% in
Borderlands.exe itself, 12% in the kernel, 5% in wineserver, 4% in ntdll, 3% in
libc, 2% in wined3d (the rest is negligible).
Any ideas?

Minimum patch reversal for current head
Mass Effect 2/3 has no sound in menus/game since commit
[1f9c541b58360559f2f8a6db9d876ada4dcc2b48] explorer: Set the final size of the
desktop window only after it has been created.
Intro videos play correctly, including sound, but as soon as the main menu is
loaded, no sound plays. I bisected it to the specified commit, and further down
to the specific statement. I attach a minimum patch that fixes this in current
git, although it may break something else.

-> Failed with ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED and no job is created.
2925 ret = GetJobA( printer, add_job->JobId, 2, NULL, 0, &needed );

-> Fails as expected but with ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER, not
ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER. So needed is 0.
2927 job_info = HeapAlloc( GetProcessHeap(), 0, needed );
-> So here we allocate a 0-byte structure!
2928 ret = GetJobA( printer, add_job->JobId, 2, (BYTE *)job_info, needed,
&needed );
2929 ok( ret, "GetJobA() failed le=%d\n", GetLastError() );
-> Again ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER.
Then we crash when we try to dereference a pointer in the 0-byte job_info
structure we allocated.
So it looks like this is all because JOB_INFO_2 is not supported anymore. Yet
MSDN says nothing about that. Does that make sense?
