Often after starting Warcraft 3 (after every ~5-10 starts) the game crashes
immediately and shows me an exception (in the attachments is a screenshot).
libx11 is already on version 1.6.2 so it is not related to an outdated version.

If you set d3dx9_36 to builtin and run the demo, the game starts, but looks
like the d3d8/d3d9 visual tests (lots of bars/colors in a rainbow pattern).
Terminal output attached.

Summary: Shortcuts designed to go to All Users\Start

Menu\Programs (appinstall)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.25
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: download, Installer
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: austinenglish(a)gmail.com
Not immediately noticeable, since the shortcuts end up in the user's
gnome/kde/$DM program menu/desktop, but I've noticed it while making sure
shortcuts were indeed installed. Every time that shortcuts are (in windows)
installed to All Users, on Wine, they're installed to the local user's folder.
Apps affected, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Viewers, probably everything?

--- Comment #1 from Anastasius Focht <focht(a)gmx.net> ---
Hello Robert,
you have definitely multiple problems your Wine installation.
I suggest a clean reinstall using recent Wine and updated graphics drivers.
You are _not_ running CoD:MW3 multiplayer which would be 'iw5mp.exe' - the log
shows the crashing process is 'iw5sp.exe'.
Regarding logs ... I'm not sure, but what part of "Please do not PASTE logs and
back traces (create an attachment below, instead)." besides the BIG RED STOP
SIGN was unclear?
Multiplayer works fine with recent Wine (I tested this).
The single player crash looks like a variant of bug 32515

Resolving as dupe to make this bug at least a bit useful.
