Bug ID: 37709
Summary: Qt 5 applications show menus & co. on wrong screen if
outside primary screen
Product: Wine
Version: 1.6.2
Hardware: x86
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: user32
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
Reporter: matteo(a)mitalia.net

If the menu is opened on the primary screen everything works fine
Qt 5 applications under Wine 1.6.2 have problems in positioning menus, the
combobox dropdown and other "floating" elements in case of a multiple monitors
setup.
In particular, the position of such elements seems to be clamped to the primary
screen, as in attached figures.
The problem doesn't show with Qt 4 applications.
You can find a statically-linked demo application here
(https://bitbucket.org/mitalia/qt5-wine-menubug/downloads/qt5-wine-menubug.e…)
- it just sports a QMainWindow with two menus and a combobox. Its source is at
https://bitbucket.org/mitalia/qt5-wine-menubug/src.

Summary: CutListPlus FX fails viewing Layouts

Error when viewing layouts
CutListPlus FX fails when attempting to view layouts, also if including layouts
in print mode.
Free tria of latest version of CutListPlus FX (cutlistplus-fx18-installer.exe)
can be downloaded at http://cutlistplus.com/download.
This bug occurs on my system - Kubuntu 19.04, WINE 4.12.1
Two of the sample files including in the free trial:
Karin's Kitchen L2.cxp
Layout Style Demo.cxp
do not exhibit this issue. Feedback from the developer states that these two
files are 'locked', thus the software does not attempt to optimize the files.
All other sample files fail when viewing layouts.
On my other system, Linux Mint 19.1, WINE 4.13, the .exe file won't install at
all. A brier 'action' icon appears, then nothing, also won't install under
WINE-stable on Linux Mint 19.1
Older version of CutListPlus (2006 version) works fine under all O/S and WINE
versions tested.

Summary: Champions Online error reporter can't be closed and
notification icon often can't be interacted with
Product: Wine
Version: 4.13
Hardware: x86-64
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

When playing Champions Online through Steam (but I guess the issue would appear
when playing through Arc Games / without a launcher as well) the game sometimes
crashes (on Wine it's most often when trying to drag an item after playing the
game for a while, which causes a glowing outline that crashes a game to cause a
crash, but the game is often unstable even on Windows).
Crashing causes CrypticError.exe to appear with icon in notification area
(which sometimes isn't visible) a balloon notification about gathering system
data to appear which eventually closes, and error window with a place to write
details as well as Cancel and Submit buttons. However, the notification icon
(or rather an empty place from it) often stays open in the taskbar and can't be
closed other than killing CrypticError.exe or even the whole wine prefix (in
Steam that results in game still "Running").
To cause a crash, it's easier to try to launch the game with D9VK or switch
renderer in troubleshooting section of video options to DX11 and play the game
for a while with DXVK then try to drag item which will result in game crash.
The game is free to play and can be downloaded on Steam or through publisher's
website.
That issue was consistently happennig for at least three different computers
running different wine versions and having different software (WM/DE etc.)
installed.
I last tested with wine-staging 4.13.g010c308a but the issue was consistently
happening for almost a year now (along with the crashing issue, but that might
be related to DXVK or game bug), I can retest with the latest master though.

Crash that happened after dying in the game
The game crashes after a while, either when switching floors or after dying in
game.
I noticed that the game uses more and more RAM, that might or might not be
related.
