Just installing Derive 6.10 on a fresh wine installation. There is a problem with the font in the input. Every glyph is just a black square. See attached screenshot. I ran Derive with WINEDEBUG+fonts and found out that it tried to use Tahoma a few times. Therefore I copied Tahoma from a windows installation to drive_c/windows/fonts/. Now the glyphs are showing; but some are bold and other regular and after a few seconds I get an X Error. See attached backtraces and screenshot. What else could I try to get this working? BRANDING.CAB fails to be installed.
