I now think that the problem is with the services code in advapi32, in that it doesn't cope at all well when StartServiceCtrlDispatcher is called without the process having been started by StartService. Nor it is the goal of Wine. You have to insert real CD-ROM into CD-ROM drive and try again. I have that game in iso, so i mounted my game in /mnt/dvd, that is recognize by wine has being K:. I have to change to win98 in winecfg (game only acepts win95/win98), the instalation went ok, no problems. Then i tried to start the game and the problems start. It cannot enter the game because it misses read the cd properly, at leats the cda part.
