Source file of my test program. But wine work fine and don't crash.
When SendMessage is called, and the callback method for the message return with
a exception, SendMessage return with a exception too. This work for wine and
Windows XP. So that isn't the bug :(.

I had exactly the same problem with my from a few days ago (sorry no specific
date), but I got the latest CVS down earlier today, and it now works slightly
better. It works fine when in the actual game (as it is in 0.9.16), but the
menu is still messed up (as it is in 0.9.17).
Looking at today's patches, it looks like it might be this patch that
(partially) fixed it, as it seems to relate to mouse input:

Patch to decrease the number of vertex shader constants
Try this patch also. I saw an ATI user have a similar problem that I can't
duplicate on my NVIDIA 6600, but this patch fixed the issue for him.

Couple things:
What video card are you running?
Can you post a WINEDEBUG=+d3d_shader trace?

Sini,
It doesn't look like the same crash. We could use more information perhaps from
the War3 error log generated.
Also, you might be able to avoid those read problems with cdrom device if you
mount an iso loopback on the same mount point you use for the actual device. You
need the disk in the drive still.
