Everything else is handled by Wine itself. The drawing of controls (or widgets what ever you call it) is 5% of actual functionality that's hidden behind. Needless to say it have to be 100% identical to the one on Windows. QT/GTK are not. Bisecting showed the following commit is causing the problem: 12931062fbf5387cfcb0bdb65a110c503728bd6b is first bad commit commit 12931062fbf5387cfcb0bdb65a110c503728bd6b Author: Jacek Caban <jacek(a)codeweavers.com> Date: Tue Jan 13 00:28:25 2009 +0100 wininet: Make sure that we have data buffered before sending INTERNET_STATUS_REQUEST_COMPLETE notification. The attached log (+wininet,+relay) shows relevant (i hope) parts of the log, the problem seems to happen somewhere inbetween. The message box in the last line is the one showing the error message before the installer quits.
