Bug not present when using an intel chipset, only noted on my nvidia card.
Though slow speed maked it unplayable on intel.

No it's not possible - Wine has only one X window - the top level window for
each ... window (dialog, form, etc). Everything else is handled by Wine
itself.
The drawing of controls (or widgets what ever you call it) is 5% of actual
functionality that's hidden behind. Needless to say it have to be 100%
identical to the one on Windows. QT/GTK are not.
This is not feasible for 1.2.0

I noticed that the streaming installer of WoW stopped working with 1.1.13, it
complains about not being able to download any information from the net.
Bisecting showed the following commit is causing the problem:

The attached log (+wininet,+relay) shows relevant (i hope) parts of the log,
the problem seems to happen somewhere inbetween. The message box in the last
line is the one showing the error message before the installer quits.
Affected installer can be downloaded at the link provided in the URL field.

"wine C:\\thief\\thief.exe"
I installed the game well (i had to change to windows 98 mode), but as soon as
i try to run it from the command line, it opens, or seems to open very briefly
then immediately crashes. i attached the stuff from the command line after i
entered the command "wine C:\\thief\\thief.exe". I doubt it's a hardware
problem, because it used to run when i used windows.
