Patch works fine for me. Why is this patch not merged?

Summary: SIV generates fixme:rpc:handle_bind_error unexpected
status value 1765
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.17
Platform: x86
URL: http://rh-software.com/
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: rpc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: ray(a)pobox.co.uk
When I run SIV on exiting I sometimes get fixme:rpc:handle_bind_error
unexpected status value 1765.
I expect this is because an entry needs to be added for
RPC_S_NO_CONTEXT_AVAILABLE to the switch in handle_bind_error() but I can not
figure out what reject_reason should be set to.
A typical run log when I start SIV and just press [ OK ] is:

And unfortunately the latest xinput2 patch from 2011-03-08 won't apply to
1.3.18. I tried cherry-picking the bits of the patch that look like they
haven't yet been implemented in 1.3.18 (mostly in dinput_main.c) but without
success (the mouse didn't work at all outside the menus).

Wine 1.3.18 doesn't works with Mass Effect too.
I must to use 1.2.3 with an old patch.

Summary: Move test result should have a "Create new version"
option
Product: WineHQ Apps Database
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: source
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: appdb-unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kennybobs(a)o2.co.uk
AFAIK the only way to create a new version of an app in the AppDB is to submit
a test result. When moving a test result the only option is to move to an
existing version. There should be an option to create a new version and move
the test result to it. It would make things easier for maintainers to separate
out test results that have been submitted for the wrong version.

George, is this regression still present? Have you filed some (another) bug
about it?

I just tried 1.3.18 (ie with the xinput2 raw mouse input enabled) and it didn't
work for Crysis. xinput2 was initialising correctly but unless I press the
mouse button, I still can't turn around 360 degrees.
