Start meny occasionally fired while playing the game.
wine runs in desktop mode 1440x900, game in fullscreen with same resolution.
"Capture mouse in full-screen" option activated/unactivated - no matters,
results are the same.
Mouse:
1. I cant't use mouse anywhere except the wine window, even cursor not shown.
2. But inside the window mouse events also fires on the wine desktop - it can
click the Start button, activate steam window and many other things.
Keyboard:
Some keyboard events fires outside the wine window. For example pressing "Alt"
button makes ubuntu's "Run command" menu shown.
Some "err" from wine output:
err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {7d8aa343-6e63-4663-be90-6b80f66540a3} not
registered

Backtrace when running SteamSetup.exe
This is a regression introduced in 2.17.
This commit caused it:
author Alexandre Julliard <julliard(a)winehq.org>
Thu, 7 Sep 2017 17:31:42 +0000 (19:31 +0200)
commit 2967e3efb6cb83decfa75e5d2e1d9e7da44130c7
ntdll: Store memory views in a binary tree instead of a list.
The commit before this one doesn't have this problem.
Like I mentioned in the title, this only happens when compiling with gcc4.2,
when compiled with clang3.8 it works fine.

Summary: 64-bit .NET application crashes with
NullReferenceException
Product: Wine

Created attachment 58791
--> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=58791
back trace of the bug
I encountered a problem with the 64-bit .NET Framework:
My C# program is very simple:
Code:
static void Main(string[] args)
{
System.Console.WriteLine("Hello world!");
Debug.WriteLine("Debug Hello world!");
}
I installed the WINE-2.12 64-bit on CentOS 7 (3.10.0-514.21.1.el7.x86_64) and
installed the .NET Framework 4.6.1 onto it. Before installing the .NET
Framework, I removed wine-mono. I got the following error message when I tried
to run the above program:
Hello world!
Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to
an instance of an object.
at System.Diagnostics.DiagnosticsConfiguration.Initialize()
at System.Diagnostics.DiagnosticsConfiguration.get_IndentSize()
at System.Diagnostics.TraceInternal.InitializeSettings()
at System.Diagnostics.TraceInternal.WriteLine(String message)
at ConsoleApplication3.Program.Main(String[] args)
wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000000 at address 0x1aa460fd
(thread 0009), starting debugger...
The problem is with the line "Debug.WriteLine(...)". However, the same
application compiled with 32-bit works well.
I found out that I got the similar error at other positions when I ran our
in-house 64-bit .NET program, even if I don't use Debug.WriteLine(...), so I
created the hello-world program to reproduce it.
My final goal is: run our 64-bit .NET application on a 64-bit WINE with .NET
Framework 4.6.1.

Plain wine 2.11 (without staging patches on top of it) does launch, though, but
the issue still persists.

Still an issue in 2.0.2. In 2.11-staging Diablo just crashes.

Summary: Starcraft Remaster lose ability to select individual
units from groups after alt+tabbing.
Product: Wine
Version: 2.21

Using wine-staging, version 2.21
4.13.12-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Nov 8 11:54:06 CET 2017 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Playing StarCraft remaster. Downloaded executable from official Blizzard site.
Installed with wine. I have also installed all optional dependencies as per
pacman -Qi wine-staging
Make a control group for units (i.e. select units, press CTRL+<number>, those
units are hotkeyed to select by pressing <number>). If you then ALT+TAB out of
the game and ALT+TAB back in you cannot select individuals from that group.
*Selecting an individual unit with the mouse then selects that entire unit's
control group, instead of the individual unit.
*Selecting the group and then clicking on an individual unit (through the UI or
clicking the unit itself) selects the entire group again, and not the
individual unit.
*Selecting the group and then shift+clicking to remove units from the group has
no effect.
I use GDM. Pressing the super key and then selecting another program, then
doing this again to return to StarCraft does not produce this behavior.
Current Workaround: Saving your game, and loading it again fixes the behavior
until you ALT+TAB again. Obviously this isn't a feasible workaround for
multiplayer games.
