This application starts just fine right here, with wine 0.9.13. Please retry and
reopen bug if you still encounter problems. Regards

Due to yet unknown circumstances Wine chooses some chinese (?) fonts over
standard (Tahoma, Verdana, Arial or Times New Roman) when unicode fonts are
installed. Upon complete deinstallation of the unicode fonts everything went fine.

Well since I use the dapper repository statet on winehq you're certainly right -
it HAS to be a bogus version.
So don't worry - I won't bug you anymore...

I worded part of that last comment incorrectly. I would like this bug to remain open until it has been
confirmed as fixed specifically with Personal Ancestral File. I will then regression test it at each point
release of Wine.

Then you not using version you claim you use. Or you applied some patches that
are not part of the Wine.
Whenever you can get something more when you do WINEDEBUG=+all wine foo.exe
come back and reopen the bug.
If you can't produce any debug output your Wine is broken.

Mike, I tried the patch with 0.9.12 and 0.9.13 but it didn't work with either
version. I got lines like these for every file it tried to extract:
err:cabinet:FDICopy PFDI_OPEN returned zero for
C:\windows\temp\RarSFX0\accessor.cab.
err:msi:extract_cabinet_file FDICopy failed
err:msi:ACTION_InstallFiles compressed file wasn't extracted (L"c:\\Program
Files\\America's Army\\System\\pbsetup\\pbsetup.exe")
The only thing that changed was the filename in the ACTION_InstallFiles line, so
I guess it kept looking in accessor.cab for every file. There was also a crash
at the end with both versions.

The page below states that a blocker blocks testing work. I work full time testing software and I am willing
to continuously test Wine's compatibility with one particular program but this bug is blocking me from
doing my work. That is why I marked it as a blocker. Would a developer please reopen a bug. I am not
going to do it myself because I am not a developer and do not want to upset developers. However, I would
like this bug to remain open until it is fixed in a point release of Wine. Thank you for your work.
