This bug still persists with wine 1.1.3. No need to post my logs same
information that's already here.

Just tried the 1.1.3 on Outcast with the MouseWarpOverride force: the value
seems to work, even if the rotation of the main character is often too fast
(mouse sensibility is not the cause) which somehow spoils the gaming
experience.
I can also confirm that, as haarp noticed with Crysys, the starting game menu
is very hard to navigate with the MouseWarpOverride forced on.

Of course it did not work! I can go back in time 1 month and change Wine source
then. The change was done only 2 days ago! And that is _EXACTLY_ what I said:
"Today's GIT added a workaround:"
If you blind or can't read then please don't post here at all!

sorry for my undoing
however, this workaround DOES NOT work with wine 1.1.2 (did not try with
1.1.3), and since people have been complaining about it since like forever, i
thought i added my suggestions about how to make things work.
if there's smthing wrong with my posts, admins please feel free to delete it,
or just the part that offends you.
regards,
Cristi

This is fixed as of Wine 1.1.3. Transparency issues seem to be fixed. It's
playable now :)

The above patch fixes the bug. It's a bit uglier than I'd like, but it ensures
that the Windows exe is started up with the stack alignment it expects.

Created an attachment (id=15553)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=15553)
Force stack alignment when starting process
Adds an assembly wrapper around the process entry point in start_process to
force the stack alignment to a given value mod 16. wine_call_with_stack_align
is modelled on wine_call_on_stack, but I realised half way through that we
can't rely on the Windows program to preserve esi, which makes the assembly
code a bit uglier. Setting 'align' to 8 matches Windows XP and makes the Doom3
demo work.
