I have also experienced Homeworld 2 1.1 working once and then never again.
William, what keys did you delete that made it work again briefly?

After d461d7d2136fcb8fa591784742c31237ad5b10d6 it properly advances to next
sibling which is element:
---
002c:trace:msxml:xmlnode_get_firstChild (0x171e60)->(0x1facb0c)
002c:trace:msxml:get_node (0x171e60)->(firstChild 0x7c0ba130 0x1facb0c)
002c:trace:msxml:create_node type 7
002c:trace:msxml:xmldoc_add_ref (0x7c059038)->(2)
002c:trace:msxml:dom_pi_QueryInterface
(0x171ec8)->({2933bf80-7b36-11d2-b20e-00c04f983e60} 0x1faca2c)
002c:trace:msxml:xmlnode_get_nodeTypeString (0x171ec8)->(0x1facb14)
002c:trace:msxml:xmlnode_get_nextSibling (0x171ec8)->(0x1facafc)
002c:trace:msxml:get_node (0x171ec8)->(next 0x7c20c748 0x1facafc)
002c:trace:msxml:create_node type 1
002c:trace:msxml:xmldoc_add_ref (0x7c059038)->(3)
---
And this is good. Next problem is failed selection query (that I suspect to be
in XSLPattern format).

Roderick reports that Vitaliy's patch is still good, makes Microsoft's
DirectInput test program called mouse.exe happy, and helps games Mass Effect 2
and Dead Space.

Summary: Textures on characters don't sync.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.18
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: john.beaulieu(a)comcast.net
In Ubuntu 9.04 with wine 1.0.1 through 1.18 I've been having graphics issues.
Textures on character models don't seem to be synchronizing with the animation.
Clothing clips through and on my toon, when it jumps my shield detaches from
the body. I'm currently running Wine 1.1.18 since 1.19 and 1.20 cause the game
to crash to desktop when it logs on to the character or character select. I
have checked all my in-game graphics options and haven't seen any improvement.
